I have painted this gorgoeus old trunk matt white and adorned it with some full bloom roses. It's such a unique piece that i wanted to keep its aged appearance.
I have padded and recovered the top with a gorgeous candy stripe fabric.
I have kept the inside in its original condition and it even has a loose, rusty hinge at the back. This does not detract from the overall appearance but in fact is in keeping with its character and age.
Such a gorgeous trunk..i wish i had more room to keep it.
It will make a lovely addition to your home and is perfect for storing old photos, magazines or linen.
