Sweet Little Rachel

Over the past 20 years, I have employed hundreds of young ladies. Most have worked summers on their way to college, collecting life skills and lessons as they have walked through my doors AND my heart. What a blessing it has been to mother so many young ones and to send them off to college, knowing someday they'll return with their careers firmly in place.
Sweet Rachel came to me this summer. Like a mountain stream after one of those gully washer rains, she ushered in much laughter, beautiful music, and a playful energy that filled the spirits of my staff to overflowing. We will all miss her presence in our lives.
There are so many things to love about Sweet Little Rachel. She sings a beautiful Ave Maria, she shops for fresh vegetables with the critical eye of a gourmet chef, and she teaches others with much patience and kindness. What I love most about Rachel is that she has a crystal clear vision of her future. She WILL be on stage! She WILL sing opera. She WILL be in the limelight. I cannot wait to watch her blossom!
