How easily women come together and linger lovingly in friendship. We have two customers who show up every Saturday for a little tearoom tete a tete and bead shopping. They bring their own special blend of herbal, black and green teas, we supply the filtered water, and they banter back and forth about their faith and the new Bible study material they have acquired. Their next move is to the bead shop to feel the gemstones and pearls and try on our finished antique religious medal pieces. Their special blend tea, Norfolk Breakfast, is full bodied, with a jammy like character and mellow astringency. It is the perfect blend for a morning wake up call or an afternoon with a dear friend. Tasty and classic, this tea is the epitome of our bead queens, Pam and Diana! It contains a high grown Ceylon for flavoury floral notes, a South Indian for roundness of body and two different Assams for malty depth and profound color. Add in an Imperial Keemum from China and a good measure of Earl Grey to round out the blend. This tea is lovely when paired with our Chicken Chutney Pecan Salad and homemade fruit chutney.
